Working with the callers we may dread! Those who are angry, aggressive, suicidal, argumentative and seasoned complainers as well those who want to do more than talk to a helpline!

The Course will cover

  • Establishing with the group the key challenges they encounter
  • Working on new techniques to handle these situations; developing a toolkit to take away
  • Having an understanding of vicarious trauma
  • Keeping within service and professional boundaries
  • Taking care of ourselves after these types of calls
